About the position

Burrow Global is seeking a talented Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in Deer Park, Texas or Beaumont, Texas. In this role, you will lead and participate in the development of civil and structural engineering designs, ensuring that all work complies with industry standards, codes, and project specifications. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing everything from conceptual design to construction, while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Your technical expertise will be crucial as you provide guidance to project teams, including performing design calculations, structural analysis, and offering construction support. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with clients to understand their project requirements, address any technical challenges, and ensure that all project objectives are met. You will also coordinate with other engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction teams to seamlessly integrate civil and structural requirements into the overall project deliverables. Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in developing civil and structural engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from conceptual design to construction, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including design calculations, structural analysis, and construction support.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, address technical challenges, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction teams to seamlessly integrate civil and structural requirements into overall project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, focusing on EPC projects and/or oil and gas projects
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of industry codes and standards, including ACI, AISC, IBC, and ASCE
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
