About the position

The Senior Clinical Project Manager at IQVIA Biotech is responsible for the successful planning, implementation, and execution of clinical studies. This role involves managing project teams, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and maintaining positive client relationships. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to navigate complex clinical trials while supporting the department's goals and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full scope regional and global clinical projects.
  • Lead project teams and ensure effective communication among team members.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Negotiate with clients to maintain operational processes and project scope.
  • Review project study trends and respond proactively to client needs.
  • Develop early warning systems for potential project obstacles and create innovative solutions.
  • Identify and document training requirements for project compliance.
  • Manage change on all assigned projects and ensure adherence to SOPs and work practices.
  • Maintain current project reporting and keep executive management informed.
  • Assist in developing and updating internal processes and quality assurance forms.
  • Support contract execution and represent senior management in negotiations.
  • Participate in performance appraisals for team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of direct clinical trial experience in a CRO or research-related organization.
  • Minimum of two years of management experience in a clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated clinical monitoring and/or data management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong financial management skills and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a matrix team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with electronic data capture systems.
