About the position

The Senior Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) at IQVIA plays a crucial role in enhancing patient enrollment in clinical trials by providing education and procedural guidance to healthcare providers and study coordinators. This position involves collaboration with various medical teams and requires extensive travel to support trial execution and develop referral networks. The CTE is expected to leverage their clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with physicians and support groups in the therapeutic area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide education and procedural guidance to healthcare providers and study coordinators regarding clinical trial processes.
  • Conduct in-service presentations aimed at increasing patient enrollment in clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and other field-based medical teams to optimize trial execution.
  • Develop tailored recruitment plans to enhance patient enrollment.
  • Work with referring physicians to establish and maintain referral networks to support clinical trial sites.
  • Engage with support groups in the therapeutic area to promote clinical trials.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
  • RN license required.
  • Operating Room or Sterile Procedural experience required.
  • Experience collaborating with Neurologists or Neurosurgeons required.
  • Four years of prior Clinical Trial Educator experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in the local language.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete patient recruitment activities including referral outreach and data abstraction.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated.

Nice-to-haves

  • Clinical Research experience preferred.
  • CCRC certification preferred.
  • Business experience is a plus.
  • Excellent technology and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and business acumen.

  • Competitive salary range of $113,900.00 - $189,800.00 based on qualifications and experience.
