About the position

The Senior Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) at IQVIA plays a crucial role in enhancing patient enrollment in clinical trials by providing education and procedural guidance to healthcare providers and study coordinators. This position involves collaboration with clinical research associates (CRAs) and other medical teams to develop tailored recruitment plans and establish referral networks, ultimately supporting optimal trial execution. The CTE will also engage with referring physicians and support groups within the therapeutic area, requiring significant travel as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and procedural guidance to healthcare providers and study coordinators regarding clinical trial processes.
• Conduct in-service presentations aimed at increasing patient enrollment in clinical trials.
• Collaborate with CRAs and field-based medical teams to develop tailored recruitment plans.
• Establish referral networks with referring physicians to support clinical trial sites.
• Engage with support groups in the therapeutic area to enhance recruitment efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
• RN license required.
• Operating Room or Sterile Procedural experience required.
• Experience collaborating with Neurologists or Neurosurgeons required.
• Four years of prior Clinical Trial Educator experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with a wide range of people.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in local language.
• Demonstrated ability to complete patient recruitment activities including referral outreach, chart reviews, and data abstraction.
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal oversight and coordinate activities across multiple functions.
