About the position

Dematic is seeking a Senior Software/Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their DevOps/MLOps team. This role involves collaborating with local and global team members in an agile development environment, focusing on continuous integration and delivery. The engineer will engage in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, implementing pipelines, debugging issues, and managing releases while working extensively with cloud technologies for provisioning and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Complete lifecycle responsibility of CI/CD pipelines for Cloud Software that runs in GCP and Azure
• Support and set up standards for Cloud Applications including governance policies, IaC, monitoring, alerts, and backup/restore
• Support local developers' deployments
• Support release management
• Assist all development teams with CI/CD issues
• Work collaboratively in an agile environment with development, product, and QA teams
• Mentor and pair with team members on key initiatives
• Provide cross-functional DevOps support for organizational initiatives
• Architect GCP solutions that support on-prem deployments
• Work on Proof of Concept for new technologies to support the CICD process
• Provide technical leadership and manage key initiatives
• Work on build pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, Bash, Python, etc.
• Develop and deploy IaC pipelines

Requirements

• Masters in Computer Science and 2 years of work experience as a CICD (DevOps) Engineer or Bachelors in Computer Science and 5 years of work experience as a CICD (DevOps) Engineer
• 7+ years of experience in GCP / Azure Cloud design concepts
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with setup of Gitlab or Jenkins CI/CD pipeline with Terraform, bash scripts/Python, Groovy
• 5+ years of experience with administration and maintenance of Kubernetes Clusters
• 5+ years of Docker container experience
• 4+ years of experience with maintenance in Windows or Linux Virtual machines
• 5+ years of experience in scripting utility tools for task automation with bash shell or python
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Terraform, Ansible, Helm
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana/Loki/Prometheus
• Hands-on experience deploying Machine Learning/AI models to GCP
• Knowledge of frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras
• Experience with MLOps frameworks like Kubeflow, MLFlow, and DataRobot
• Experience in administrating Jenkins or Gitlab in a cloud environment
• Hands-on experience in setting up serverless environments
• Experience working on architecture involving Edge computing and low latency requirements
• Good understanding and experience implementing security measures for cloud-based deployments
• Experience with cost optimization for different deployment architectures
• Monitoring and operational experience
