About the position
The Senior Cloud Operations Developer role is designed for a skilled professional to enhance and develop cloud solutions, manage deployment pipelines, support cloud security, and optimize monitoring capabilities. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and uptime of cloud operations, directly impacting the overall performance of the company's cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to incidents, minimizing impact on customers, and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance the operational stability, security, and cost management of cloud solutions.
- Continually refine and improve DevOps processes through optimization, automation, and reporting.
- Manage cloud deployments, ensuring successful releases and escalating issues when necessary.
- Proactively monitor and manage cloud environments, including infrastructure as code, storage, certificates, and backups.
- Ensure new services meet operational readiness standards and comply with security policies.
- Provide subject matter expertise and maintain accurate operational documentation.
- Stay up-to-date on security trends and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Azure or AWS administration, APIs, and tools.
- Development experience, with exposure to programming languages such as C# and .NET.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Node.js.
- Knowledge of API, REST, microservices, and serverless architectures.
- Strong communication skills, able to present complex information clearly.
Nice-to-haves
- Certifications in Azure or AWS.
- Experience with information security frameworks such as ISO27001.
- Familiarity with Agile software development frameworks (SAFe).
