About the position

The Senior Cloud Operations Developer role is designed for a skilled professional to enhance and develop cloud solutions, manage deployment pipelines, support cloud security, and optimize monitoring capabilities. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and uptime of cloud operations, directly impacting the overall performance of the company's cloud services.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to incidents, minimizing impact on customers, and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance the operational stability, security, and cost management of cloud solutions.
  • Continually refine and improve DevOps processes through optimization, automation, and reporting.
  • Manage cloud deployments, ensuring successful releases and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Proactively monitor and manage cloud environments, including infrastructure as code, storage, certificates, and backups.
  • Ensure new services meet operational readiness standards and comply with security policies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and maintain accurate operational documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on security trends and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Azure or AWS administration, APIs, and tools.
  • Development experience, with exposure to programming languages such as C# and .NET.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Node.js.
  • Knowledge of API, REST, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Strong communication skills, able to present complex information clearly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with information security frameworks such as ISO27001.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development frameworks (SAFe).
