As a Senior Cloud Developer at Motion Recruitment Partners, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the cloud infrastructure for a leading airline that serves nearly 200 million travelers annually. This position is a 6-month contract based in Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work model. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable cloud-based databases, ensuring compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements across all cloud environments. Your expertise in AWS services, particularly in database management, cloud networking, and API management, will be crucial in supporting the company's enterprise business standards. In this role, you will work closely with development teams to implement cloud solutions that optimize performance and security. You will monitor database performance, implement backup and recovery strategies, and troubleshoot any database-related issues. Additionally, you will design and manage cloud storage solutions, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery through effective replication and backup strategies. Your experience with API management will also be essential as you design, develop, and maintain APIs, ensuring they adhere to industry standards and best practices. This position requires a strong understanding of AWS services, including IAM, EC2, and various cloud monitoring tools. You will also need to be comfortable with Linux systems and have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK. Your ability to implement cloud networking solutions and manage security tools will be vital in maintaining the integrity and security of the cloud environment.
