Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Cloud Developer for our client in the transportation industry, located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 12-month contract position aimed at transforming the IT organization within the airline industry. The client is on a journey to innovate and create meaningful solutions, and they are looking for talented individuals to join their team and help realize this vision. As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing solid and supportable modular designs for data streaming, cloud transformation/migration, and API product development that support critical applications. In this role, you will be responsible for developing data APIs and data delivery services that cater to operational and analytical applications for the client's internal business operations, customers, and partners. You will also be involved in the creation and support of data-centric products that encompass multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies. Your ability to analyze technical information and produce quality software will be essential, as will your capacity to initiate collaboration with teammates and offer creative solutions to overcome obstacles. You will work within automated testing and CI/CD processes, becoming an expert on the products developed. Documenting solutions in both written and diagram form and communicating effectively across teams will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will leverage developer coding standards to ensure that the solutions meet design goals and business needs, while also identifying technical issues and articulating their impact to prioritize effectively. Proactive communication with both the team and leadership, as well as collaboration with vendors, will be vital to your success in this position.
