About the position

CACI is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to enhance and build enterprise-scale cloud environments using AWS technologies and DevOps methodologies. This role involves working directly with AWS services, improving security automations, and collaborating with software engineers to streamline infrastructure processes. The position supports dynamic professional services engagements and focuses on migration, evolution, and optimization within AWS-based environments.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance skillset by disrupting traditional workflows and processes using AWS technologies.
  • Build an enterprise-scale cloud presence within the IC for software development and web hosting.
  • Interact with various operating systems and cloud platforms to create IT automation and orchestration activities.
  • Use open source technologies and tools for specific project use cases.
  • Employ coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve problems with custom workflows.
  • Collaborate with project teams to tackle complex technological infrastructure issues.
  • Perform incremental testing on code and processes to streamline execution and minimize errors.
  • Implement event-driven architectures via Infrastructure as Code.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development, software engineering, or systems automation.
  • Experience with agile software development in Python, Go, or Node.js.
  • Experience performing automation in Windows or Linux environments using Bash or PowerShell.
  • Strong customer-facing skills for discussions with senior personnel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent technical study.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

  • AWS experience
  • AWS Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator Associate Certification
  • Experience with JSON or YAML for Infrastructure as Code
  • Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins.
