About the position

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer for a full-time remote opportunity. This role involves building, deploying, and maintaining various IaaS and PaaS resources within Azure Cloud, with a focus on automation, security, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain multiple IaaS and PaaS resources within Azure Cloud.
• Create and configure networking principles and protocols such as Network Security Groups, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, and Traffic Managers, and maintain Firewalls.
• Automate deployment of resources in Azure through CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git and Azure DevOps.
• Deploy public cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform and ARM.
• Manage PKI/SSL certificates and automate the renewal process, including secret management in Hashicorp Vault.
• Administer and maintain Linux servers.
• Install and manage various security and performance monitoring tools such as Crowd Strike, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
• Continuously optimize costs by monitoring and analyzing the usage of public cloud resources and scaling them appropriately without impacting performance.
• Plan and prepare for the containerization of applications and services using Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, and ACI.

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
• 6 years of experience with Azure Network Administration.
• 6 years of experience with Azure ARM.
• 6 years of experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines.
