About the position

The Senior Cloud Developer position at Diverse Lynx LLC is a full-time role based in Atlanta, GA, focused on cloud development and migration, particularly within the AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud development and migration, alongside at least 6 years of experience in advanced Java technologies. The role requires proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and SQL, with additional experience in data extraction from various databases such as Oracle, DB2, and MySQL being advantageous. The candidate should also be familiar with deploying and managing infrastructures using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, and have experience with scalable data extraction tools, Kafka, Aurora, AWS Glue, and Redshift. In this role, the Senior Cloud Developer will be responsible for developing solid and supportable modular designs for data streaming, cloud transformation, and API product development to support critical applications. The developer will create efficient software using Java, C#, Python, .Net, Spring Boot, and Microservices, while enhancing and maintaining on-premises and internal PAAS applications, actively reworking them to AWS according to project timelines. The position also involves designing and implementing serverless patterns from containerized applications and building industry-standard APIs, establishing connectivity protocols, and routing calls effectively. The candidate must possess strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, be flexible, and have a passion for learning and collaboration. Responsibilities

• Develop solid and supportable modular designs for data streaming, Cloud transformation/migration, and API product development in support of critical applications.
• Develop efficient and effective software using Java, C#, Python, .Net, Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs.
• Enhance and maintain on-prem and internal PAAS applications, actively reworking these to AWS along project timelines.
• Help design and implement serverless patterns from containerized applications.
• Build industry-standard APIs and assist with establishing, consuming & routing calls, connectivity protocols, and policy.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of Development experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience on AWS cloud development and migration.
• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience on advanced Java technologies.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience on Python is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with multiple disparate systems.
• Hands-on experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS / Azure / Google), with AWS being preferred and mandatory.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, shell scripting (Bash and PowerShell), and SQL.
• Experience working with streaming data and data extraction from different databases (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience deploying and managing infrastructures based on Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with scalable data extraction tools is a plus.
• Experience working with Kafka, Aurora, AWS Glue, Redshift is a plus.
• Understanding of data engineering, real-time streaming and/or eventing, and JSON parsing.
• Experience with automating application deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration (Jenkins, Ansible, etc.).
• Experience building microservices and API architecture.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
