About the position

The Senior Cloud Developer will be a key member of the Cloud Operations Team at ManTech, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications and services. This role focuses on enhancing customer missions through innovative cloud solutions across various platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle. The position requires strong technical expertise in cloud technologies and a commitment to best practices in software development, security, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on cloud technologies and services.
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
• Strong proficiency in cloud-native development, including microservices architecture, containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, Node.js, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Understanding of cloud security practices, including access controls, encryption, and secure coding standards.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Developer).
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automated deployment and monitoring.
