As a Senior Cloud Development Engineer at Pegasystems, you will be an integral part of our innovative Pega Cloud team, which is dedicated to delivering essential services for Pega as a Service. This role involves collaborating with talented engineers and product owners across the globe, including teams in the US, EU, and India, to build highly scalable Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. You will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-native systems that are highly available and scalable, utilizing technologies such as Golang and Python. Your work will include the design and development of CI/CD pipelines, integrations, and testing, leveraging DevOps tools to enable automated operations of our services. You will also maintain and build FEDRamp compliant services within AWS, assisting our operations team with sophisticated operations throughout the entire service lifecycle. This position requires a strong understanding of DevOps culture and practices, as well as a technical versatility that allows you to support our Pega Cloud with its evolution into an 'as-a-Service' model. In this role, you will be expected to bring good practices around design patterns and have experience in maintaining and creating CloudFormation templates, libraries, and Terraform modules. Your expertise in Linux and Unix systems, along with scripting and automation skills, will be crucial for success. You will also need to demonstrate a strong understanding of cloud technologies, ideally with a multi-cloud perspective, and possess hands-on experience with AWS, with GCP knowledge being a plus.
