The Senior Cloud Engineer position at Providence is a remote role that can be based in several states including Alaska, California, Montana, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. The position requires a solid understanding of both Azure and on-premises solutions, as well as proficiency in Agile DevOps operations. In this role, the Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for operational support and execution of cloud strategies, focusing on resource efficiency and maintaining system uptime in accordance with service level agreements. A comprehensive knowledge of Windows Servers, vSphere, and Azure cloud services is essential, along with an understanding of Azure policies, compliance measures, resource optimization, and remediation processes. The position emphasizes the importance of effective communication across organizational pillars to drive technical discussions towards successful outcomes. The essential functions of the role include designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring they are reliable and secure.
