About the position

The Senior Cloud Integrator at Phoenix Operations Group is responsible for building and supporting big data solutions on enterprise cloud platforms. This role involves designing and implementing systems using advanced technologies in Big Data, Cloud Computing, and automation. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and maintaining operational systems on classified networks, while most development work can be conducted at the unclassified level.

Responsibilities

• Build big data solutions on enterprise cloud platforms.
• Design and implement systems using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Collaborate with application developers for integration and mission SMEs for functionality.
• Maintain operational systems on classified networks.
• Participate in daily Scrum meetings and technical work.

Requirements

• TS/SCI Clearance with appropriate polygraph required.
• Experience managing a cluster of dozens-to-hundreds of nodes.
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (e.g. Zookeeper, NameNode, JobTracker).
• Proficiency in CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with automation tools like Puppet or Ansible.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other hosted platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices using Git and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of virtualization and/or containerization.
• Experience in Cyber Security / Hardening / STIGs.
• Automated OS Installation experience (i.e. Kickstart).
