About the position

As a Senior Cloud Native Developer at Deloitte, you will lead cloud engineering teams in designing and developing cloud-native systems. This role emphasizes collaboration and innovation in a supportive environment, focusing on modern cloud design patterns and software development across various cloud environments. You will also maintain DevOps processes and assist in migrating legacy systems to the cloud, all while continuing to grow professionally in the field of cloud engineering.

Responsibilities

• Help lead cloud engineering teams to design and develop cloud native systems
• Lead, create, build, and implement applications based on modern cloud design patterns
• Leverage cloud native services to drive innovation and increase speed to market
• Maintain application DevOps processes and deployment pipelines
• Assist in system migration to the cloud and modernize applications
• Continue to learn and grow professionally as a cloud native engineer
• Support and lead project tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years' experience developing full stack solutions
• 6+ years application and modern API development (Go, Golang, NodeJS)
• 6+ years web application development experience, particularly NodeJS and Typescript
• Hands-on experience with OpenSearch and/or ElastiSearch
• 6+ years cloud native language experience (Lambda, Node.js, Python)
• Strong understanding of cloud serverless solutions
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, Fargate)
• Experience working with cloud database services (RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB)
• Experience working with cloud deployment languages (CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, Ansible)
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Active Secret Clearance or above
