About the position

The Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Humana is responsible for the build, deployment, and maintenance of multi-cloud security controls, ensuring the security posture of cloud-based applications and systems. This role involves addressing moderately complex to complex issues, requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and the automation of security controls to minimize risks. The engineer will also work on cross-functional processes for cloud security control engineering and implementation, influencing departmental strategy and making decisions on technical approaches without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud security controls.
• Engineer security posture and implementation for cloud-based applications and systems.
• Ensure cybersecurity policies are engineered and deployed to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) to meet compliance requirements.
• Automate cloud security controls to minimize threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Establish cross-functional business processes for cloud security control engineering and implementation with proper visibility and approvals.
• Work with security controls such as Email DLP, Network DLP, Zero Trust Network Architecture, and IAM tools.
• Influence department's strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure.
• Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Architecture.
• Experience with Network DLP.
• Experience with IAM tools.
