About the position

The Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Humana is responsible for the build, deployment, and maintenance of multi-cloud security controls, ensuring the security posture of cloud-based applications and systems. This role involves addressing complex issues related to cybersecurity policies, automating security controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The engineer will work with various security controls and influence departmental strategies while exercising considerable latitude in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud security controls.
• Engineer security posture and implementation for cloud-based applications and systems.
• Ensure cybersecurity policies are engineered and deployed to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) to meet compliance requirements.
• Automate cloud security controls to minimize threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Establish cross-functional business processes for cloud security control engineering and implementation with proper visibility and approvals.
• Work with security controls such as Email DLP, Network DLP, Zero Trust Network Architecture, and IAM tools.
• Influence department's strategy and make decisions on complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure.
• Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
• Experienced with Zero Trust Network Architecture.
• Experienced with Network DLP.
• Experienced with IAM tools.
