About the position

The Senior Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for the build, deployment, and maintenance of multi-cloud security controls, focusing on engineering the security posture and implementation for cloud-based applications and systems. This role involves addressing moderately complex to complex issues, ensuring that cybersecurity policies are effectively engineered and deployed in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, while also meeting compliance requirements. The engineer will automate cloud security controls to minimize threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, and will work collaboratively across business processes to ensure proper visibility and approvals for cloud security implementations.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud security controls.
• Engineer security posture and implementation for cloud-based applications and systems.
• Ensure cybersecurity policies are engineered and deployed to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and meet compliance requirements.
• Automate cloud security controls to minimize threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Establish cross-functional business processes for cloud security control engineering and implementation with proper visibility and approvals.
• Work with security controls such as Email DLP, Network DLP, Zero Trust Network Architecture, and IAM tools.
• Influence department's strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure.
• Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
• Experienced with Zero Trust Network Architecture.
• Experienced with Network DLP.
• Experienced with IAM tools.
