About the position

The Senior Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for the build, deployment, and maintenance of multi-cloud security controls, ensuring the security posture and implementation for cloud-based applications and systems. This role involves addressing moderately complex to complex issues, requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. The engineer will automate security controls to minimize threats and vulnerabilities, and will work collaboratively across functions to implement cloud security measures effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud security controls.
• Engineer security posture and implementation for cloud-based applications and systems.
• Ensure cybersecurity policies are engineered and deployed to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and meet compliance requirements.
• Automate cloud security controls to minimize threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Establish cross-functional business processes for cloud security control engineering and implementation with proper visibility and approvals.
• Work with security controls such as Email DLP, Network DLP, Zero Trust Network Architecture, and IAM tools.
• Influence department strategy and make decisions on complex technical issues regarding project components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure.
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Architecture.
• Experience with Network DLP.
• Experience with IAM tools.
