About the position

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Roblox, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the cloud security strategy and controls. This position is part of the Platform Security team, where you will collaborate with the Information Security team and the hybrid cloud engineering team to secure the platform and create safer shared experiences for users. Your work will involve creating security policies, writing detections for cloud environments, and building tools for scalable security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create security policies and partner with cloud engineering to implement and enforce them.
• Write detections for cloud environments to identify security incidents in collaboration with the detections team.
• Build tools and automation to secure cloud environments in a scalable manner.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in cloud security.
• Experience writing and maintaining code in at least one programming language such as Python, Golang, or C#. Eager to learn new languages and technologies.
• Deep understanding of cloud service architecture and cloud security concepts.
• Familiarity with container security.
• Understanding of network security concepts and best practices for safe cloud resource connectivity.
