About the position

The cloud software engineer will be responsible for developing RESTful cloud services and frameworks that support NVIDIA's developer tools products. This role involves architecting and implementing scalable cloud-based systems for SaaS, ensuring low latency and high availability for a large number of concurrent developers. The engineer will collaborate with product teams to integrate new cloud features and drive performance tuning of cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of RESTful cloud services and frameworks for NVIDIA developer tools products.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable cloud-based systems for SaaS.
• Partner closely with product teams to integrate new cloud features into existing products.
• Work with engineering teams to align on corporate infrastructure strategies and enhance existing services.
• Drive performance tuning of end-to-end developer tools cloud services.

Requirements

• BS or MS in computer science, mathematics, or related engineering fields (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of relevant technical work experience.
• Experience building cloud services.
• Deep understanding of cloud application designs in virtualization, distributed systems, load balancing, and security.
• Background with Containers and Docker, knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, and practical experience with AWS or Azure.
• Strong programming skills in a relevant language (e.g., Golang, Python, Java).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with distributed teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Prometheus.
• Track record of delivering scalable cloud micro-services.
• Proven skills in solving sophisticated technical problems.
