Senior Collections Representative

About the position

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Collections Representative to manage high-volume customer accounts and resolve complex issues related to aging invoices. This role involves providing guidance to less experienced team members and building strong relationships with customers and internal offices. The position emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills to enhance collections processes and improve efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Utilize advanced skills and expertise in various processes, procedures, and systems to recover aging invoices
• Analyze data to identify and solve complex problems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance efficiencies and achieve targeted results
• Contribute ideas for process improvement based on identified themes and a comprehensive understanding of the bigger picture
• Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring timely and professional service
• Continuously develop skills, expand collections knowledge, and build business acumen
• Support in the training and mentoring of team members in best practices and strategies
• Coordinate and oversee the completion of all accounts and assigned responsibilities
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments as directed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable, or related finance roles
