About the position

The Senior Combat Systems Engineer (VLS) at Precise Systems will provide expertise in Navy Combat Systems and Vertical Launch System (VLS) integration for the Unmanned Ship Program. This role involves supporting the development of ship specifications and testing to demonstrate technology readiness while coordinating with external organizations. The engineer will also offer subject matter expertise to assist in decision-making efforts to ensure mission success.

Responsibilities

• Provide Navy Combat Systems and VLS integration expertise to the Unmanned Ship Program.
• Support the development of ship specifications and testing to demonstrate technology readiness.
• Coordinate with outside organizations to ensure successful integration and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or a high school diploma/GED with more than 20 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Active security clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
