About the position

The Senior Commissions Analyst is responsible for the operation, update, and maintenance of the Commission System to ensure accurate and timely commission and sales incentive payments. This role involves researching and documenting discrepancies between contractual agreements and actual calculations, as well as analyzing and reporting commission and sales incentive information to various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Daily operation and maintenance of the Commission System including processing commissions and sales incentives across all product lines.
• Troubleshooting complex issues/questions from producers and internal personnel regarding commission system design and calculations.
• Developing future system enhancement opportunities, including drafting business requirement documents and test scenarios.
• Providing presentations and reports that communicate analyses and recommendations to various levels of management.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders including vendors, brokers, and regional office employees.
• Responding to all audit requests in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Human Resources or related field required, or four years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 4 years of related experience with EIM Systems, Commission Incentive Systems, or Payroll Systems required.
• Experience in the insurance field preferred.
• Analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting data and performing root cause analysis.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and Access; SQL experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
