About the position

The Senior Communications Manager at Augmedix will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing comprehensive communications strategies that elevate the company's brand and drive business results. This position requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in strategic planning, content creation, and corporate communications. The ideal candidate will excel in managing editorial guidelines, overseeing website content, and crafting compelling narratives through various media and marketing channels. The Senior Communications Manager will also be responsible for conducting market research and producing high-quality marketing materials such as case studies, customer testimonials, blogs, and whitepapers. In this role, the Senior Communications Manager will develop and implement communication strategies that align with business goals to drive top-of-funnel brand awareness and positioning across all relevant media and marketing channels. They will own the creation, approval, and distribution of content to ensure high standards of quality and brand alignment, with an eye towards scalable processes. Additionally, the manager will manage public relations (PR) initiatives and work with a PR agency to enhance the company's reputation and visibility with relevant audiences. Building deep cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders, including Executive, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams, will be essential to ensure alignment with business and customer needs in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. The Senior Communications Manager will also measure communications effectiveness and drive continuous improvement processes aligned with business objectives and results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that align with business goals to drive top of funnel brand awareness and positioning across all relevant media and marketing channels.
  • Own the creation, approval and distribution of content to ensure high standards of quality and brand alignment with an eye towards scalable processes.
  • Manage public relations (PR) initiatives and PR agency to enhance the company's reputation and visibility with relevant audiences.
  • Build deep cross functional relationships with key stakeholders including Executive, Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to ensure alignment with business and customer needs in dynamic, fast moving environment.
  • Perform market research as is needed to drive data driven decisions and ensure messaging and positioning are appropriate amongst the competitive landscape.
  • Measure communications effectiveness and drive continuous improvement processes aligned with business objectives and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and operationalization of communication strategies in dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with passion for creating compelling content across multiple channels is critical.
  • Proven success working cross-functionally with an ability to clearly articulate decisions and insights to a wide range of audiences.
  • Highly organized and able to respond and prioritize requests from cross-functional teams.
  • Ambitious self-starter with a positive, upbeat demeanor.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $135,000 - $165,000 per year, with total compensation typically including salary, performance bonus, and equity.
