About the position

The Senior Corporate Communications Professional, Enterprise Social Media at Humana is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that align with the company's business priorities. This role focuses on creating compelling content for digital channels, managing social media initiatives, and collaborating with various teams to enhance communication effectiveness. The position requires strong writing and multimedia skills, as well as the ability to analyze data to inform communication strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of enterprise social media and owned channel strategy and content.
  • Handle the content approval process and publishing of enterprise social media content.
  • Plan and write content for employee advocacy program on social media, and work with internal communications teammates to promote the program.
  • Maintain social media and owned channel editorial calendar, supporting quarterly enterprise social media via topic and messaging research.
  • Handle all requests for supportive social media posts with assistance from the Digital Editor.
  • Maintain video channels, including the video upload process.
  • Co-own Content and Channel Team content approval processes.
  • Coordinate with social media peers across Humana.
  • Contribute to high-level departmental editorial calendar and keep teammates informed on content development.
  • Use data and analytics to guide communications plans and strategies, identifying impactful tactics.
  • Act as a steward for Humana's brand and uphold it in communications products and tactics.
  • Connect with cross-functional business partners to build and maintain a communications strategy and curate meaningful content for key audiences and initiatives.
  • Work with Corporate Communications leadership to improve communications effectiveness, measurement, and process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, public relations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of social media communications or public relations experience with proven expertise in developing communications strategies that drive results.
  • Expertise in writing and developing content for social media channels that may require independent research and a high level of inter-team coordination.
  • Advanced skills using O365 suite, including Teams and SharePoint, as well as Adobe Express and Sprinklr or other social media publishing tools.
  • Ability to manage communications campaigns, ranging in size and scope, from concept to delivery.
  • Passion for emerging technology and enthusiasm for engaging, interactive communications.
  • Adept at data and analytics to drive content and channel decisions.
  • Exceptional written communications skills and deep experience as a content creator.
