About the position

ANSER is seeking a senior communications specialist / analyst to manage internal and external communication for a large semiconductor/microelectronics program. In this role you will create and draft media statements, answer media inquiries, compile publications, or plan events. You will plan, design and develop presentations that advance key business objectives and tell stories through clean, concise, and well-organized slides and documents.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex concepts and translates them into easy-to-understand graphs, charts, and visual graphics.
• Develop and maintain customized templates and graphics to ensure a consistent look and feel.
• Ensures brand is consistent and the message matches the company brand, values, mission, and goals.
• Monitor social media for sentiment about program, company and tracking of presence on social media.
• Maintain the digital presence across multiple media platforms.
• Verify all social media is compliant with the organization's guidelines.
• Gather data for review on all social media activity for each client.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, English, Literature, Creative Writing or similar discipline.
• Eight (8) years progressive experience in writing, journalism, internal communications.
• Demonstrated experience with PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides and other design programs including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or other similar applications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

• Experience in the semiconductor, microelectronic or manufacturing industries.
• Prior experience working with government agencies.
• Experience/knowledge of supporting policy and process improvement activities.
• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
