The Senior Compensation Analyst/Compensation Analyst II at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital plays a crucial role in managing and supporting the compensation strategy of the organization. This position involves overseeing compensation consulting and analysis services, developing and implementing compensation programs, conducting competitive market analysis, and ensuring efficient HR processes. The role also includes leading a team of compensation analysts and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance the organization's compensation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Excel daily for various functions including formula development, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Leverage expertise for job evaluations and market pricing analysis.
  • Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Efficiently use Workday for job profile creation and HR tasks.
  • Develop and maintain job architecture frameworks within the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of job offers for market competitiveness.
  • Oversee and manage the merit increase process for accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and adjust salary grade structures to maintain equity and competitiveness.
  • Develop and manage job descriptions to accurately reflect roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in compensation activities or 2+ years in compensation and 2+ years in HR, Finance, or data analytics roles.
  • Experience in modeling compensation programs and financial models preferred.
  • Experience supporting audits, surveys, and performing complex reporting and analyses.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets/Slides.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Access preferred.
  • Some experience in principles and practices of compensation systems and programs.
