About the position

As a member of the Philips IGT (Image-Guided Therapy) Commercial Operations Compensation Planning team, the Senior Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of sales compensation plans, managing the administration of sales compensation payouts, and conducting sales performance analytics. This position is under the direction of the Senior Manager of Commercial Operations Planning and requires a strong focus on ensuring consistency and accuracy in compensation processes while building effective systems to deliver scalable automation solutions. The responsibilities include providing quality assurance in maintaining the implementation of compensation plans, which involves the monthly and quarterly calculation of sales compensation payments. The analyst will also administer compensation statements, research and resolve inquiries from the sales team, and prepare monthly and quarterly accruals for the finance and management teams. Additionally, the role involves monitoring and analyzing compensation results in relation to sales performance, calculating and distributing monthly rankings and performance reports. A key aspect of this position is to build effective processes that deliver scalable automation solutions for manual tasks. This includes creating and maintaining reports, presentations, compensation documents, and metrics that monitor the integrity and effectiveness of sales compensation plans. The Senior Compensation Analyst will also support the Sales Operations organization by implementing and adhering to effective compensation policies and procedures, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting in refining and building work instructions and process documentation for cross-training purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of sales compensation plans and administration of sales compensation payouts.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly calculations of sales compensation payments and administer compensation statements.
  • Research and resolve inquiries from the sales team regarding compensation.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accruals for finance and management teams.
  • Monitor and analyze compensation results relative to sales performance.
  • Calculate and distribute monthly rankings and performance reports.
  • Build effective processes to deliver scalable automation solutions for manual processes.
  • Create and maintain reports, presentations, compensation documents, and metrics to monitor sales compensation plans.
  • Support the Sales Operations organization by implementing effective compensation policies and procedures.
  • Assist in refining and building work instructions and process documentation for cross-training.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of work experience in an advanced analytical role.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, problem-solving, and Excel skills, including advanced functions.
  • Experience with Python and building macros is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and familiarity with compensation structures and best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to interpret large data sets and present findings effectively.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related discipline preferred; MBA preferred.
