About the position

At T. Rowe Price, we are dedicated to fostering an environment where you can grow, contribute, learn, and make a difference. As a premier asset manager, we focus on delivering global investment management excellence and retirement services that our investors can rely on today and in the future. The work we do is significant, and we invite you to explore the opportunity to join us and advance your career. The Sr. Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in partnership and consultation with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Senior HR Consultants. This position supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of effective compensation programs for assigned global client groups. Acting as an expert on compensation trends in the external market, the Sr. Compensation Analyst ensures that T. Rowe Price's compensation programs are aligned with our strategic goals. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days a week in our Owings Mills office. In this role, you will manage compensation processes for assigned global client groups, which includes overseeing year-end compensation processes, conducting benchmarking, performing offer analyses, and generating periodic reports for HR Partners and senior management. You will establish strong working relationships with HR partners and business leaders to enhance their understanding of how to effectively utilize compensation programs to meet their needs. Additionally, you will independently research and analyze external market data on compensation trends and may collaborate with outside consultants to conduct special studies or gather competitive intelligence. Your assessments will ensure that our programs align with the Total Rewards strategy and are culturally and market relevant. You may also serve as a subject matter expert on related projects, coordinating and managing resources as needed. Your ability to understand data requirements and create presentations will be essential in accurately displaying information, communicating succinctly, and influencing decision-making. You will provide ad hoc consultative guidance or analyses to managers, HR Business Partners, and other HR COE partners on complex compensation questions, often requiring creative solutions and independent analytical thought. Furthermore, you may support the design and operationalization of specific firmwide compensation programs.
