About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in developing and delivering strategic compensation programs aligned with the company's compensation philosophy. This position involves administering various compensation programs, conducting market analyses, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure equitable compensation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Administer year-end Merit and Incentive programs in accordance with policies and in partnership with the Manager, Compensation
  • Own the full lifecycle of Annual Survey Participation: map internal jobs to survey benchmarks, collect and scrub HR data, ensure timely submission, attend Validation sessions
  • Evaluate, benchmark, and advise on new hire offers, internal job changes, off-cycle adjustments
  • Perform job evaluation of current and new roles: conduct market analysis within MarketPay and internal analysis / peer review within Workday
  • Meet with People Partners and Business Managers to align on job evaluations and educate on compensation practices, salary grades, market pricing methodology
  • Maintain Jobs Library: review job descriptions for content and consistency, revising or requesting revisions as needed
  • Participate in Annual AAP Compliance, ensuring accuracy of data and partnering with Legal and People Team to investigate inequities
  • Administer Recognition programs, ensuring compliance with Guidelines and preparing reports as needed
  • Track incentive performance against Plan, providing required accruals and adjustments to Finance; monitor budget and report variances
  • Create/edit job profiles in Workday and generate periodic and ad hoc reports
  • Assist with system implementations and upgrades as needed, including Workday Advanced Compensation
  • Assist with development, improvement, maintenance and implementation of Compensation's policies, practices, and structure, including its Job Architecture

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in employee compensation programs
  • Experience managing large datasets
  • Experience using MarketPay/PayScale
  • Experience conducting market analysis using Mercer/Willis Towers Watson surveys
  • Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
