About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst, Manufacturing at GAF plays a crucial role in developing, implementing, and managing compensation programs and strategies. This position focuses on ensuring that compensation practices align with the company's philosophy while collaborating with HR and business leaders to promote fair pay practices. The analyst will conduct statistical analyses, manage compensation initiatives, and provide support to HR Business Partners, all while contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct statistical analysis, data modeling, and costing of pay programs
  • Provide project management support for various compensation initiatives
  • Consult and advise HR Business Partners on compensation-related questions
  • Evaluate local markets and internal benchmarks to provide recommendations
  • Conduct job evaluations to ensure consistency and adherence to the level structure
  • Participate in annual salary surveys and analyze market trends
  • Assist in modifying or designing new HR policies related to Compensation
  • Collaborate with HRIS to ensure the integrity of employee and job data within Workday
  • Liaise with HRIS to configure compensation-related business processes
  • Analyze and resolve Workday user concerns and educate users on resolutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business or Human Resources
  • 5-7 years of HR Compensation experience
  • Experience in the Manufacturing industry
  • Experience using Workday HCM

Nice-to-haves

  • MA in Human Resources; MBA or CCP preferred
  • Familiarity with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Google Suite
