About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst at GAF plays a crucial role in developing, implementing, and managing compensation programs and strategies specifically for the Manufacturing sector. This position involves collaborating with HR and Business Leaders to ensure fair pay practices, conducting statistical analyses, and providing insights to support compensation-related decisions. The analyst will also assist in the hiring process and ensure alignment with the company's compensation philosophy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct statistical analysis, data modeling, and costing of pay programs.
  • Provide project management support for various compensation initiatives.
  • Consult and advise HR Business Partners on all compensation-related questions.
  • Provide recommendations by evaluating local markets and internal benchmarks, employee attrition, and business goals.
  • Conduct job evaluations to ensure consistency and adherence to the level structure.
  • Participate in annual salary surveys; gather current market data information and analyze trends.
  • Assist with modifying/designing new HR policies and practices as they apply to Compensation.
  • Collaborate with HRIS to ensure the integrity of employee and job data within Workday.
  • Liaise with HRIS to configure compensation-related business processes.
  • Analyze and resolve Workday user concerns and educate users on resolutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business or Human Resources with 5-7 years of HR Compensation experience.
  • MA in Human Resources; MBA or CCP is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing industry is required.
  • Experience using the Workday HCM.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiar with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of Workday.
