About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst, Manufacturing at GAF plays a crucial role in developing, implementing, and managing compensation programs and strategies. This position focuses on ensuring that compensation practices align with the company's philosophy while collaborating with HR and business leaders to promote fair pay practices. The role involves statistical analysis, project management, and providing counsel on compensation-related issues, making it essential for the company's operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct statistical analysis, data modeling, and costing of pay programs.
  • Provide project management support for various compensation initiatives.
  • Consult and advise HR Business Partners on all compensation-related questions.
  • Evaluate local markets and internal benchmarks to provide recommendations.
  • Conduct job evaluations to ensure consistency and adherence to the level structure.
  • Participate in annual salary surveys and analyze market data trends.
  • Assist in modifying/designing new HR policies and practices related to Compensation.
  • Collaborate with HRIS to ensure the integrity of employee and job data within Workday.
  • Liaise with HRIS to configure compensation-related business processes.
  • Analyze and resolve Workday user concerns and educate users on resolutions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business or Human Resources with 5-7 years of HR Compensation experience.
  • MA in Human Resources; MBA or CCP is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing industry is required.
  • Experience using the Workday HCM.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiar with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of Workday.
