About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in the Compensation Center of Excellence, focusing on analytical support for compensation plan design, modeling, and administration for the US Hourly population within the Global Supply Chain. This remote position involves conducting market analysis, preparing cost assessments, maintaining pay administration guidelines, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in compensation and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market analysis to determine competitive positioning of the US Hourly population's pay programs; compile and analyze results.
  • Prepare cost assessments and other reports for management and assist in providing recommendations to HR and Operations Leaders.
  • Maintain pay administration guidelines, policies, and other support tools.
  • Assist with the correction of data errors for employee records in the HRIS system that may impact the administration of employee compensation.
  • Conduct internal pay audits and analyze pay data to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Participate in annual pay administration programs, including wage scale creation and maintenance and/or development of incentive pay plans.
  • Facilitate the administration of general wages and annual merit planning and administration process and ensure accurate payroll process for employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - BS/BA in business, finance, statistics, or mathematics
  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation or financial modeling and data analytics
  • Experience with hourly compensation and/or wage scales development
  • Knowledge of Workday HRIS and Payfactors compensation planning and market pricing tools
  • CCP, or progress towards a certification a plus
  • Research, critical thinking and evaluation skills with the ability to reason through data findings in order to develop recommendations
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Pivot tables, x-lookup, formulas, graphing, and analytics)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is required: Power BI and Access preferred
  • Hourly wage scale design experience highly preferred
  • Union & Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Highly organized with a very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with ability to communicate effectively at various levels
  • Knowledge of FLSA and job classification categories
