About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst at DSV Air & Sea Inc. is responsible for supporting the administration and implementation of various compensation programs within the organization. This role involves analyzing and developing compensation strategies, conducting market research, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. The analyst will work closely with HR and management to ensure competitive compensation practices that align with the company's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop, and maintain compensation programs to meet company objectives
  • Participate or lead special projects such as pay structure development and job descriptions
  • Benchmark jobs against survey data to determine competitive compensation ranges
  • Gather data from market-based compensation surveys and analyze results
  • Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization
  • Evaluate job positions for FLSA classification and assign wage ranges
  • Assist Talent Acquisition with new hire offers, transfers, and promotions
  • Lead the administration of the annual merit compensation process
  • Provide cost analysis for the annual merit increase process
  • Complete annual EEO reports
  • Lead annual OFCCP Affirmative Action Plan data collection
  • Administer annual, quarterly, and monthly bonus programs
  • Ensure compliance with equal pay laws
  • Administer monthly service anniversary award program
  • Assist with compensation and equity-related communications
  • Participate in compensation surveys and perform analysis
  • Conduct internal research to assess compensation programs across multi-state locations
  • Assist with annual compensation analysis to ensure pay equity and market competitiveness
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding compensation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • 3 years' experience in compensation administration (5+ years preferred)
  • Good understanding of job evaluations and compensation analysis
  • Proficient with compensation research and data analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HRIS systems and reporting
  • Understanding of FLSA regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
