About the position

As a Global Incentive Compensation Analyst at Qlik, you will play a pivotal role within the Finance FP&A organization, directly influencing the company's strategic direction. Your primary responsibility will be to create detailed reporting and analysis that supports the compensation structure of the organization. You will need to build strong relationships with decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor while maintaining a high standard of work and integrity. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliation of monthly and quarterly Sales Commission calculations. This includes direct correspondence with field sales teams to address any questions or corrections that may arise. You will generate commission payment files within Qlik entities, ensuring that all calculations are reconciled on a year-to-date basis. Additionally, you will perform manual calculations for cost impacts related to exception requests and other ad hoc reporting requirements. Your support will also extend to the annual budget and planning process for compensation design, where you will need to stay informed about industry trends. Your impact will be felt as you partner with Field Sales Teams, Customer Success, and Services organizations, providing support on compensation inquiries and ensuring a clear understanding of compensation plans, policies, and guidelines. You will analyze commission earnings on a metric basis, breaking down data by individual, role, and region. Furthermore, you will engage in additional project work as identified and required by the business, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely reconciliation of monthly and quarterly Sales Commission calculations.
  • Correspondence with field sales on any questions or corrections regarding commissions.
  • Generate commission payment files within Qlik entities, ensuring year-to-date reconciliation.
  • Perform manual calculations for cost impact related to exception requests and ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Support the annual budget and planning process for compensation design, staying aware of industry trends.
  • Partner with Field Sales Teams, Customer Success, and Services organizations to support compensation inquiries.
  • Analyze commission earnings on a metric basis and by person, role, and region.
  • Engage in additional project work as required by the business.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in XACTLY software.
  • Finance or Accounting degree; MBA is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in technology, sales, business, or other fast-paced, growth-related fields preferred.
  • 2-5 years' experience in a previous Compensation role.
  • Experienced in client services and solution-oriented approaches.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially highly proficient in Excel.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com CRM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work across a culturally diverse environment.
  • Meet strict deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of numeracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
  • Proactive and process-driven, seeking more efficient systems.
