About the position

As a Senior Compensation Analyst at Nasdaq, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's total rewards programs, which are designed to attract, retain, and empower employees. You will be responsible for ensuring that our compensation strategies align with the company's growth objectives while fostering an environment that encourages ownership, teamwork, and innovation. In this role, you will engage in both executive and broad-based compensation responsibilities. For executive compensation, you will participate in the preparation of materials for Board Committee meetings, conduct research on compensation trends and regulatory developments, and assist in gathering and preparing relevant regulatory filings, including the Compensation Discussion and Analysis (CD&A) section of the proxy statement. Your analytical skills will be crucial in ensuring that our executive compensation practices are competitive and compliant with regulations. On the broad-based compensation side, you will develop, implement, and administer various compensation programs, including salaries, short- and long-term incentives, job leveling, and market benchmarking. You will provide consultation to HR Business Partners regarding compensation policies and programs, conduct advanced reporting and modeling to ensure alignment with our compensation philosophy, and review educational materials for employees and managers. This role requires a blend of technical competencies, strong project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the preparation of materials for Board Committee meetings.
  • Research executive compensation trends, best practices, and regulatory developments.
  • Gather and help prepare relevant regulatory filings and reporting information such as the CD&A section of the proxy statement.
  • Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs and processes, such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, job leveling, market benchmarking, and year-end compensation review.
  • Provide compensation consultation to HRBPs regarding compensation programs and policies.
  • Conduct advanced reporting and modeling to ensure compensation aligns with existing philosophy and guidelines.
  • Review and edit compensation education materials for employees or managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; concentration in analytical field such as finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong project management, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced skill and knowledge of market benchmarking and survey leveling structure.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a global team environment.
  • Experience with Workday is preferred, experience with Beqom a plus.

  • Experience in executive compensation analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in compensation reporting.
