About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst will provide essential compensation support and consultation to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and various corporate departments and field locations. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including conducting job evaluations, making salary recommendations, performing pay equity reviews, and addressing general compensation inquiries. The Senior Compensation Analyst will also offer guidance to HRBPs and managers on compensation policies and best practices to ensure compliance and equity across the organization. The Senior Compensation Analyst will be responsible for evaluating job descriptions to ensure proper job alignment and compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). This position will administer Global's compensation programs, including annual base pay increases, bonuses, and equity programs. The analyst will make recommendations to management on streamlining salary procedures and processes, provide guidance to HRBPs in developing total reward solutions, and support the development and communication of compensation policies and programs. Additionally, the analyst will identify pay trends and develop recommendations to address any areas of opportunity, ensuring that compensation plans are competitive, compliant, and motivating for performance. Participation in salary surveys and regular data analysis will be crucial to confirm market competitiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compensation support and consultation to HR Business Partners and various corporate departments.
  • Conduct job evaluations and make salary recommendations.
  • Perform pay equity reviews and respond to general compensation inquiries.
  • Guide HRBPs and managers on compensation policies and best practices to ensure compliance and equity.
  • Evaluate job descriptions for proper job alignment and FLSA compliance.
  • Administer Global's compensation programs including annual base pay increases, bonuses, and equity programs.
  • Make recommendations to management on streamlining salary procedures and processes.
  • Support HRBPs in developing total reward solutions and comprehensive pay decisions.
  • Develop and communicate compensation policies and programs.
  • Identify pay trends and develop recommendations to address areas of opportunity.
  • Conduct annual reviews of compensation plans to ensure they are up to date, compliant, and competitive.
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze data to confirm market competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a compensation role.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present data clearly and effectively.
  • Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Access and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Experience with Payfactors preferred.
