McKinstry is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resource team in Seattle, Washington. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert compensation consulting services to business unit leadership and key human resources staff, ensuring alignment with company goals. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of compensation-related tasks, including the review and development of compensation plans, management of the compensation cycle, and effective communication of compensation recommendations. You will monitor the effectiveness of compensation policies and procedures, conduct market research to ensure competitive pay practices, and maintain the integrity of compensation data and documentation. Additionally, you will play a key role in the design and administration of variable pay programs, such as sales and bonus programs. As part of managing the compensation cycle, you will conduct annual compensation reviews, benchmark against market standards, and manage the merit increase program. You will also provide advice and counsel to HR colleagues and business unit leadership regarding compensation decisions, policy interpretation, and job pricing. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you perform various analyses of employee data and produce relevant reports. Furthermore, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of job creation or revision, ensuring that job descriptions are formatted correctly and finalized appropriately. To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in compensation program analysis, design, and administration. Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to consult and collaborate effectively with business leaders and HR colleagues. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to convey complex information effectively. Proficiency in Excel, including advanced features, and a working knowledge of HRIS and payroll reporting systems are also necessary. Familiarity with applicable regulations such as FLSA, OFCCP, and EEOC will be beneficial. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service in response to inquiries from company leaders and HR colleagues.
