The Senior Compensation Analyst is a key member of the Corporate Human Resources team, tasked with implementing and assisting in the compensation administration processes. This role serves as a vital liaison between Human Resources and management, focusing on proposing, implementing, and revising compensation practices and policies while resolving compensation-related issues on a global scale. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at the Global Headquarters in Spring, Texas, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. In terms of responsibilities, the Senior Compensation Analyst will engage in various aspects of compensation administration and reporting. This includes gathering relevant market data on pay practices, programs, and economic trends as needed. The analyst will assist in preparing, implementing, and distributing global salary structures, evaluate salaries for new hires, promotions, and other ad hoc adjustments, and maintain employee and job information in the compensation database. Additionally, the role involves generating various internal HR metrics reports, ad hoc compensation reports, and analyses as requested, along with scheduled ABS HR data reports for external sources. The analyst will also be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and approving job descriptions and other HR documentation through discussions with HR Generalists, ensuring that job descriptions are accurate and in place for all roles. This includes reviewing FLSA exemption statuses and determining appropriate job categorizations. Furthermore, the Senior Compensation Analyst will complete salary surveys, maintain results for the organization worldwide, and participate in annual salary surveys and ad hoc analyses. In assisting with annual merit and incentive programs, the analyst will support the manager in the process and provide guidance to HR Generalists regarding organizational philosophy, pay-for-performance, and system-related issues. This role requires a strong educational background, typically a college degree or equivalent experience, along with 5-7 years of related experience. Preferred certifications include CCP, GRP, SPHR, or GPHR. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis, and effective communication with employees and leaders at all levels are essential for success in this position.
