About the position

As a Senior Compensation Analyst at QTS, you will play a crucial role in managing compensation strategies and providing insights to support the company's growth initiatives. This position involves analyzing market compensation data, ensuring internal equity, and assisting with compensation processes within the Workday system. You will collaborate with business partners to address compensation-related queries and support the administration of existing compensation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data from market-based compensation surveys using spreadsheet and data analysis techniques.
  • Review compensation actions in Workday to ensure internal equity and consistency with job leveling.
  • Assist with annual and mid-year compensation process administration in Workday.
  • Conduct regulatory audits and reports including FLSA and OFCCP as well as other data integrity audits.
  • Manage Payfactors tool including training, data updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Support Business Partners with various requests and provide consultation to assist with business needs.
  • Track, research, and resolve compensation-related queries.
  • Support in the administration of existing compensation plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five plus years of Compensation Analyst experience.
  • Experience working with global compensation.
  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookup functions.
  • Ability to create effective compensation and financial models, budgets, reports, and presentations.
  • Experience with Workday including advanced compensation module.
  • Experience with Payfactors software is preferable.
  • Experience with commissions or development bonus administration also preferred.

  • Proficiency in organizing, summarizing, and analyzing large data sets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and set priorities with minimal direct supervision.
