About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in providing compensation consulting services across the GMR footprint, focusing on analyzing, designing, and administering various employer compensation programs. This position offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse range of compensation initiatives within a mission-driven organization, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Provides client consultation to operations on compensation decisions across a wide geographic area.
• Benchmarks positions and recommends pay levels while keeping abreast of pay trends for specific talent groups.
• Maintains job description database and provides best practice input for job description development.
• Maintains salary structures and hourly pay tables, developing career paths that promote employee talent movement and internal equity.
• Recommends process improvements and effectively administers compensation programs, including annual merit processes and incentive compensation programs.
• Communicates with stakeholders to ensure excellent client management with diverse leaders across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of compensation experience, preferably with employees in a nationwide geographic footprint, including California.
• Experience facilitating company-wide initiatives.
• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Highly proficient in Excel and data management, with preferred experience in Access.
