About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs, policies, and procedures to meet the business needs of Bank OZK. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations while collaborating with staff and management to conduct job analysis and develop job structures.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, implements, and analyzes compensation programs including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Conducts job/competency analysis to develop job families and structures; maintains job descriptions.
  • Evaluates jobs and benchmarks against market data to determine competitive pay ranges.
  • Conducts research and analysis on markets, pay equity, and compensation trends.
  • Advises managers and HR staff on competitive pay decisions and salary offers.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel for modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of job architecture and career pathing.
  • Designs and communicates pay structures, grades, budgets, and guidelines.
  • Develops and delivers compensation communication and training.
  • Participates in the design and administration of performance management programs related to compensation.
  • Maintains knowledge of HR programs and ensures compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Produces accurate and timely work while following policies and procedures.
  • Exercises discretion and judgment in job functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in developing and managing compensation programs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR, SPHR, CCP or other relevant certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with various HRIS and compensation technology preferred.
