About the position

The Senior Compensation Systems and Architecture Consultant plays a crucial role in the development, administration, design, analysis, and implementation of Providence's compensation programs, focusing primarily on premium pay and GSP. This consultative position requires translating technical HRIS knowledge to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa, while also providing guidance on compensation-related issues and mentoring other team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage compensation recommendations and costing.
• Interpret regulatory guidelines and collective bargaining agreements related to compensation.
• Assist in developing internal policies and standards for compensation programs.
• Conduct data collection and analysis for special projects.
• Encourage a strategic approach to solving compensation issues within Human Resources and other departments.
• Provide guidance and information to leaders on compensation-related issues.
• Mentor other Compensation team members and serve as a resource.

Requirements

• 5 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on compensation and/or ERP systems design solutions or ERP system implementations.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Science, or related field or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation upon hire.
• Healthcare experience.
• Experience in a union environment.
