About the position

The Senior Compliance and Privacy Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting corporate compliance and privacy programs at Endeavor Health. This position involves conducting investigations into potential privacy and compliance incidents, developing corrective action plans, and ensuring adherence to federal and state privacy laws. The Senior Analyst collaborates with leadership to prepare reports and communicate necessary actions, contributing to the overall integrity and effectiveness of the organization's compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct timely investigations of reported potential privacy and compliance incidents.
  • Develop a proposed plan for each assigned investigation, monitoring activity, and audit.
  • Work with leadership to formulate recommendations for corrective action.
  • Write reports summarizing the results of investigations and recommended corrective actions.
  • Communicate necessary corrective actions and follow up to ensure implementation.
  • Manage the breach letter notification process under the direction of the Manager, Compliance and Privacy.
  • Develop monthly privacy and security reminders for the workforce.
  • Monitor case load with Privacy and Compliance leadership and notify supervisors of obstacles.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws and accreditation standards.
  • Provide support in meeting federal and state reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Compliance and/or Privacy Department.
  • Certification in CHPC, RHIA, or CHC required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to learn new software tools.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance laws and regulations (HIPAA/HITECH, Stark, Anti-kickback, EMTALA, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
