About the position

The Senior Computer Scientist role at Adobe focuses on developing high-performance video processing pipelines for the Digital Video & Audio (DVA) team. Responsibilities

  • Develop high-performance video processing pipeline for DVA products.
  • Architect, code, and productize components, features, and user experiences.
  • Scope requirements and manage projects from inception to launch, ensuring ongoing support.
  • Ensure the highest quality, performance, and scalability of video applications.
  • Collaborate with global teams regularly.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 10+ years' experience in Software Engineering with 5+ years working on high-performance applications.
  • Strong proficiency in modern C++, working in large and complex codebases on Mac or Windows.
  • Good grasp of Operating Systems concepts & algorithms.
  • Fundamental knowledge of modern GPU architectures and related graphics interfaces (DirectX, CUDA, Metal, etc.).
  • Understanding, profiling, and tuning high-performance software on NVIDIA, Apple, AMD, Mobile GPUs.
  • Experience in developing high-performance Video Processing in Non Linear Editing (NLE) software is strongly preferred.
  • Strong inclination towards developing high-quality and data-driven systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working in a global environment.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
