Responsibilities

  • Develop computer vision-based solutions that underpin our 3D measurement and visualization products.
  • Focus on areas of 3D reconstruction, object detection, scene understanding, and segmentation.
  • Design and develop creative solutions and novel algorithms in an applied research setting through rapid prototyping.
  • Drive the work end-to-end, bridging the gap between prototypes and production-ready software.
  • Provide technical leadership to team members and the broader organization.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience developing algorithms for 3D reconstruction either in an academic research or industrial setting.
  • Deep theoretical understanding and practical experience in one or more of the following areas: 3D Reconstruction, Object detection and localization, Pose estimation, Multi-view geometry, Model fitting, and Optimization.
  • Highly competitive and passionate about solving hard technical problems.
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to thrive amidst ambiguity & uncertainty.
  • Creative problem solving skills and excellent software development skills.
  • Comfortable building prototypes in either C++ or Python.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice-to-haves

  • PhD related to 3D Reconstruction.
  • Strong track record of research in related areas, with publications in top-tier venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV.
  • Practical experience in writing robust and maintainable production code.
