About the position

As a Senior Computing Infrastructure Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will engage in full stack DevSecOps activities, focusing on automation and CI/CD pipelines to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves leading engineering activities related to computing infrastructure, including product selection, design, development, and testing in both bare metal and virtualized environments. You will collaborate with program leadership to prioritize tasks and develop solutions in a lab setting, contributing to innovative defense technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage in full stack DevSecOps developer activities.
• Apply automation tools and technologies in a CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in and lead computing infrastructure engineering activities including product selection, design, development, deployment, integration, and testing.
• Interface with program and team leadership to prioritize tasking and provide status updates.
• Work on independent tasks within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems, preferably RedHat, for a minimum of 5 years.
• Experience in DevSecOps/DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, bash, python, and Ansible for at least 5 years.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with Git or GitLab, Jira, VMWare, and deploying a Linux operating environment in a virtualized environment.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a systems/software engineering environment using agile tools and automation.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with REST API.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or advanced technical certification(s).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, especially in articulating technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
